FEUDING STOCK BALE
IMPROVEMENT IN PRICES
The first of the big yardiugs of store sheep for the season fame forward at the Feilding stock sale to-day, and early sales indicated that business would be much improved. Fat sheep were in short supply, with a' correspondingly brisk demand; prices rising considerably. Dairy cattle were dull of sale. Prices up to 1 p.m. were as follow: Eat Sheep.—Two-tooths, 13s 3d to 16s Id; ewes, 6s lid to 9s 7d; wethers, 12s 7d 14s 2d, to 15s 9d; lambs, 12s Id. 12s lid to 14s 2d. Store vSheep.—Shorn wether lambs, g.s Id 9s 7d to lOs Id; b.f. lambs, 11s Id. Dairy cattle.—Heifers in milk, £1 to £2 17s 6d; heifers, r.w.b., £3 6s to £3 19s; dairy cows, £2 11s.
