WORK OF RECONDITIONING

A letter from the Ministry of Transport was read at the London County Council meeting to-day which stated that the Government had reached the conclusion to proceed to recondition Waterloo Bridge at an estimated cost of £685,000. A grant of 60 per cent, of the cost would be made by the Ministry.
