SOCIAL FUNCTIONS.
The euchre arid dance arranged by the Freezing Workers’ Union at the Oddfellows’ Hall this week, was most eniovable and well patronised. 11m winners of . the euchre tourney were: Ladies, Mrs Poananga, 1; Mr Mo Glone, 2; men, Mr Money 1; Mr Cameron 2 The okl-time Gay Gordons was ’ a favourite with dancers, and everyone spent a happy time. Mr E. Regan and Miss Bambndge won the Monte Carlo, and Mr Swan was M.C. Impressed by the public support in the past, the committee intends to lea.ve no stone unturned to achieve a greater success with similar functions in fu- j ture.
