NATIONAL ANTHEM.
STANDARDISED PLAYING. Received January 26, 10.30 a.m. LONDON, Jan. 25. By His,. Majesty’s express wish a standardised playing of the National Anthem by civilian as well as army bands and orchestras will be the outcome of an army order. The re-arrahgement of the anthem does not alter the harmony, but the tempo, enabling a standard of rendering in accordance with the necessary dignity.
