Mr James Collier, chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, to-day predicted to newspaper men that a Democratic 3.2 Beer Bijl would be passed by the House on Wednesday. PARDONS SIGNED. Received December 20, 9.30 a.m. SACRAMENTO (California), Dec. 19. Governor Rolplx signed pardons today releasing from California city or county gaols 128 men and women violators of the repealed Wright Prohibition Enforcement Act or the Jones “Still Act.”
