FOREIGN FACTORIES IN BRITAIN.
STIAIULATION OF EMPLOYAIENT. Received December 20, 1.5 p.m. LONDON, Dec. 19. In the House of Commons, Dr. E. L Burgin informed a questioner that 218 foreign controlled factories were now operating in Britain, employing 9361 persons, which figure, it was estimated, would rise to 14,000 when the factories were fully occupied.
