N.S.W. CHAMPIONSHIPS. SYDNEY, Dec. 18. At a women’s swimming carnival at Coogee, in the 100 yards backstroke State championship, Miss Bonnie Mealing beat Miss Marjorie Nicholson easily in lmin. 13sec. In the 100 yards championship, Miss Ena Stockley, an ex-New Zealander, beat Miss Kitty McKay in lmin. 6 2-osec.
The 220 yards breaststroke championship was won by Miss Clare Dennis, with Miss Clarrie Mealing second a.nd Miss A. Hewison third. Time, 3min. 14 4-ssec.
