WAITEMATA POWER BOARD. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Dec. 19. Tho Waitemata Power Board, by reductions and re-arrangements, to-day authorised economics totalling over £2OOO annually and reduced the charge for ordinary lighting by one penny per unit, thereby saving tho consumers £4OOO annually.
In addition to wage a.nd salary cuts the board reduced the members’ honorarium of £1 Is each for each meeting to 10s Gd.
