AIOTORISTS’ CAAIP. In regard to the suggestions made at the la-st meeting of the Feilding Borough Council by Cr D. C. Cullinane concerning improvements to the motorists’ camp site at Johnston Park, the Alavor (Mr C. E. Taylor), with Crs Cullinane, Collins and Ivilvington, inspected the park yesterday. As the result of the thorough investigations made it was decided to provide additional facilities for visiting motorists at the pavilion, which, it was considered, offered the best possible site for the camp lay-out. Steps are to be taken to provide bathing facilities for men and women, as well as wash-hand basins and an open fireplace. In addition it is likelv that hot points will be fitted in the building for the use of those who bring with them small electric cookers or electric kettles. It is hoped that the improvements to be made will make the Feilding motor camp ground equal, in the matter of convenience, to any in the North Island.
