QUIET PERIOD.
CALCUTTA, Dee. 5. All is now quiet in Alwar, India, where there have recently been agrarian troubles. The Maharajah has appointed a commission to inquire into grievances. It is hoped that an amicable settlement will be possible without bloodshed.
