HORNET MODEL AERO CLUB.
FLIGHT RECORD BROKEN. " The Hornet Model Aero Club held its monthly meetyig for tho Griffiths Endurance Cup. The weather conditions were favourable and some excellent flights were obtained. R. Howe broke the previous club record < of 45 3-ssec., held by himself, with a flight of 58 l-ssec«. R. Morgan also broke the single pusher record of 30 4-ssecs., by a flight of 45 l-ssecs. The following are the best totals obtained for the Griffiths Endurance Cup:—R. Morgan 1-91 l-ssecs., 1; G. Lewis 129 4-ssees., 2; T. Norling 124 l-ssecs., 3; R. Howe 108 3-ssecs.; Mr H. Parker 32 2-ssecs. It was intended to hold this competition at the air pageant on Saturday, but the weather conditions were unfavourable.
