CHELTENHAM FLOWER SHOW

A SPLENDID EXHIBITION. The high standard reached in the past by the promoters of the Cheltenham Flower Show was maintained on Saturday when there was a splendid exhibition of blooms A special feature of the show was the artistic display of decorative work staged by members of the Women’s Institute, and this, along with a fine display of roses and other seasonal flowers, decorative work and domestic entries, made for a distinctly successful exhibition. Roses and other cut flowers were judged by Mrs W. B. Faulding (Halcombe), decorative work by Mrs V. E. Smith (Feilding), domestic work by Mrs D. Bell (Kimbolton Road), home products and needlework by Airs H. E. Hay thorn© (Kimbolton) and children's ciasses by Miss Guylee (Waituna). The following is the list of awards:
