CONDITIONS IN IRELAND.
PROSPEROUS FUTURE INDICATED. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Dec. 5. Rev. Father Holbrook, of Auckland, who returned to-day afrer attending the Eucharistic said that, as far as the Irish Free State’s jurisdiction extended, it had tar greater liberty than was ever contemplated under Home-Rule but the unnatural partition of the North from the South was the greatest blunder and injustice. Generally, Ireland appeared the least affected by the depression, of the countries he had visited and he believed that when the present dispute with England, was settled she would enjoy a prosperous future.
