RUGBY FOOTBALL.
First introduced in tho 1926 season as a club championship botwoen the Wanganui and Manawatu Rugby Unions, the Licensed Victuallers’ Cup was first won by the Palmerston North Old Boys, Wanganui Pirates having been their opponents on tho first occasion. To-morrow Kaierau and Kia Toa will try conclusions. It will bo a grand finalo to a somewhat protracted season, both combinations being capable of playing good football. The trophy meantime is held in Palmerston North and tlio Kia Toa members aro quietly confident that it will remain hero. i The Kia Toa team will bo selected from the followingMcKay, Griffin, Strange, Wasley (2), O’Keefe, Sfilipson, Speedy, Bolt, Summers, McKenzie, Findlay, Heatley, Gordon, Kerrigan, Thom, Crawford and Boldt.
