.WOOL SALES IN LONDON, GOOD COMPETITION, CONTINENTAL PARTICIPATION. (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph,—Copyright.) Received October 13, 12.30 p.m. LONDON, Oct. 12. At the wool sales 7933 bales were offered, including 3176 from New Zealand, and about 3771 were sold. There was good Yorkshire and Continental competition, and the opening rates were firmly maintained. New Zealand realisations: Greasy crossbred, DC/D, 7Jd; halfbred lambs slipes, Waitaki, 12$d. These are the omy prices given.
