DEATH AT SEA.

SYDNEY, Oct. 11. 111-health is believed to have been the cause of the suicide of a secondclass passenger, Colin Maxtone, a native of Scotland, on the poop deck of the Maunganui during the voyage from Wellington. A silk scarf was round his neck and the other portion was attached to an awning spar. Death was due to strangulation. A bank book with nearly £SOO to credit was among his personal effects.
