TATE GOING TO AUSTRALIA. Received October 12, 9.30 a.m. LONDON, Qct. 11. The M.C.C. announces that a specialist’s examination shows that M. W. Tate has completely recovered. He will go overland to Marseilles on October 13 and join the team at Melbourne. Tate, who embarks on the Strathnaver at Marseilles, said to-day that he felt like a man under sentence who had been reprieved. The suspense of the past three weeks had been terrible. Mrs Tate states that Maurice is as lit as a fiddle.
