Donations to the food depot in Church Street during the week ended October 8 comprised: Beef and dripping, Kairanga Meat Co.; pigs’ heads, Kiwi Bacon Co., Ltd.; apples, Mr Owtram; ham bones, Tiki Bacon Co.; carcase of mutton, J.H.S.; cabbage plants, Mr Ormond; 9 sacks of potatoes, Mr D. A. Smillie; cakes, etc., Pohangina Church Dance Committee; cakes and scones, Boniface Bros.
