CHILD’S LEG CRUSHED.
Per Press Association. DARGAVILLE, Oct. 12. While Viola' Sweet, the three-year-old daughter of Mr E. Sweet, a relief worker, was playing in the railway yard at Tangowahine on a trolly with her Bmall brother, the trolly backed ln - t ? a , Public Works Department lorrv with the result that she had her leg crushed badly. The little sufferer was taken to the Northern Wairoa Hospital where the limb was amputated below the knee. The child is progressing favourably this morning.
