MAGISTRATE’S COURT.
At the Magistrate’s Court tcKlay, before Mr J. L. Stout, S.M., Kitty Stewart, 32 years of age, appeared to answer a charge of drunkenness and with having insufficient- means of support. Defendant pleaded guilty to the first charge and not guilty to the second. After hearing the evidence the Magistrate sentenced defendant to two months’ imprisonment with hard labour on the second charge and fined her ss, .in default 24 hours detention, ion the first charge.
