LONDON WOOL SALES.
SUSTAINED COMPETITION. RATES MAINTAINED. Received September 29, 9.30 a.m. LONDON, Sept. 28. At the wool sales 11,295 bales were offered, including 4108 from New Zealand and about 6504 were sold. Competition was sustained and firm rates were maintained. New Zealand realisations:—Crossbred, Tiraumea, top price lOd, average 9d; scoured, Glentaker, top price 20d, average 18d.
