COMMUNITY SING. Messrs Owen Pritchard end Frank Crowther will once again be the song loaders at a community sing to be held at the Opera House this evening at 7.30. Admission to all parts will bo Is and the- proceeds will bo handed to the Central Relief Fund. The doors open at 7 p.ni. and the sing will commence at 7.30. Items will be given by a number of well known artists, including a party from Levin, as advertised in another column. PICTURE THEATRES. Patrons of the Rosy Theatre will witness something unusually good in “The Nipper,” featuring Britain’s comedy favourite, Betty Balfour. This is an amusing story of adventure, love and loyalty, and combines a choice of medley of music, song, danco and drama. There is in addition a first-class supporting programme. Ronald Colman is featured in “Unholy Garden” now showing at the Regent Theatre. The story. with its desert setting, contains plenty of action, and holds the interest throughout. There is a good supporting programme.
