DETONATOR EXPLODES.
PICKED UP IN DANNEVIRKE STREET. Per Press Association. DANNEVIRKE, Sept. 28. Mr Douglas Peebles, a. resident of A\ 7 oodville, while walking in the street picked up a detonator. AA 7 hen examining it, the detonator exploded in his hands, severely injuring the left one, which subsequently had to be amputated in the Dannevirke Hospital.
