TORRENTIAL RAIN.
, Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Sept. 26. A violent thunderstorm with torrential rain was experienced over a largo area in North Auckland, from Whangarei to Helensville, to-night. If the rain continues it is feared the main north road may be blocked by flooding. Over one inch of rain fell in less than half an hour and huge hailstones fell.
