The Russell Street School ladies' committee aro holding their annual children's plain and fancy dress ball in the Empire Hall on Friday, September 23. Children will have tho floor from 7 p.m. till 9.30. Tho Grand AI arch “Kettelby’s Persian Market” will bo led by twenty children representing an Eastern Princess and her suito passing through tho street. At 9.30 the adults will take the floor, leading off with a grand march. Prizes are to be given for adult fancy dress (best dress, most original, most economical, poster, and best pair). Tho judging of these will take place in the supper room at 8.45.
