OPIUM IMPORTED.
Per Press Association. AUCKLAND. Sept. 10. For importing three" tins of prepared opium into New Zealand. Clarence McGrath, aged 39. a seaman, was fined £126 or six months’ imprisonment in the Auckland Police Court. Walter Matthew Edwards, aged 46. a watchmaker, was charged with unlawfully having in his possession three tins of prepared opium. He was fined £26 or one month's imprisonment.
