LATVIAN FORESTS.
LONDON, Sept. 15. The Morning Post says that a group of British timber importing firms is negotiating with the Latvian Government to purchase the entire output of Latvian forests in the coming season—--150,000 standards. If successful, this will ease the demands for Soviet timber, of which 450,000 standards were sold here last year.
