ARMAMENTS EQUALITY.
BRITISH STATEAIENT TO BE
AIADE.
LONDON, Sept, 15. The Daily Telegraph states that it can say definitely that Germany will not be represented at tho bureau of tho Disarmament Conference on September 21, but will bo represented at the League of Nations Council on September 23. Thus she will bo enabled to participate in a special meeting at which the British Government will suomit a statement of its views on armament equality. This method is preferred at London to the use of dip>lomatic channels.
Tire Daily Express understands that the Disarmament Conference Bureau will meet only to adjourn, and that in the meantimo the Powers will confer. Britain is likely io propose equality in principle, Germany to agree not to rearm pending an engagement by the other Powers to disarm further.
