NEARLY COMPLETED.
STRATFORD AIAIN TRUNK RAILWAY.

WELLINGTON, Sept. 15. It was stated officially to-day that the construction of the Stratford main trunk railway line, 89 miles long, will be completed by about the end of November, when it is expected through traffic will be accepted. The line will probably he operated by the Public Works Department until the end of the financial year, at which time it will be taken over by the Railway Department.
