FLYING BOAT SINKS

(United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyrigli t.) Bocoivcd September 1(3, 2.20 p.m. SINGAPORE, Sept. 1(3. A flying boat at the R.A.F. base at Singapore sank. The pilot and two. members of the crew were rescued, but two others were trapped in the wreckage and drowned despite the desperate efforts of the survivors to release them.
