CHILD DROWNED.
Per Press Association. NEW PLYMOUTH. Sept. 14. Jessie, the three-year-old daughter of Mr George Warrender, Eltham, was drowned in a stream at the back of her home this afternoon. With her small brother she was paddling in a stream, when she was washed away. Her hotly was recovered half a mile downstream.
