UNSUCCESSFUL SEARCH.

Tho trawlers searching with searchlights for tho members of tho flying Hutchinson family—who were forced to alight on tho sea near Greenland when on route to Denmark from tho United States—encountered many icebergs. Messrs Wyllio and Chapman, who are members of the Watkins expedition, aro searching in a motor boat from Angmagssalik. An noroplano belonging to the Rasmussen ex[>cdition has joined tho searchers and also Herr Udet, tho wartime German air aoe. FEARS FOR SAFETY.

ANGMAGSSALIK, Greenland, Sept. 11. A motor boat left hero on Sunday night to hunt for tho flying Hutchinson family, whoso ’piano is Relieved to have been forced down 30 miles southwest of hero in Kjooe Bay. It is feared tho eight occupants havo perished. COPENHAGEN, Sept. 12. Thero is no further nows of tho Hutchinsons and tho gravest fears aro felt for their safety. The Danish Government lias wirelessed Knud Rasmussen, who is on an expedition in tho steamer Stauning, asking him to organise a search for tho flying family. Tho party totals eight, Mr Gcorgo Hutchinson, his wifo, two daughters, aged 0 and 8, a navigator, mechanic, motion picture operator, and radio man.
