THE OPERA HOUSE.
(To the Editor.) Sir. —May I be allowed to ask through the medium of your paper what the majority of the ratepayers think of letting the Opera House, on a Sunday, for secular meetings. There are sis days or evenings in the week when such meetings could be held, and I. for one. think our City Fathers err in renting a public building for other than for devotional purposes on a Sundav. —I am. etc., RATEPAYER.
