CHARGE OF PERJURY.
PROSECUTION ORDERED. SYDNEY, Aug. 26. At the mechanical hare inquiry today the Royal Commissioner intimated that ho would order the prosecution for perjury of John Cruickshank, a witness who declared that ho had not called at the Chief Secretary’s Department on March 3 for a permit for greyhound racing at Orange, despite the fact that departmental officials positively identified him.
