ACROSS THE ATLANTIC. TWO AIRMEN MISSING. REPORTED TO BE OVERDUE. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) Received August 27, 10.40 a.m. HARBOUR GRACE, Aug. 26. Messrs Clyde Lee and John Brockton, who are making a flight to Oslo, had not been reported when the hour passed when they should have arrived at their- destination.
ANXIETY IN OSLO. Received August 27, 12.40 p.m. OSLO, Aug. 26. Anxiety is felt because the fliers, Messrs Leo and Brockton, are many hours overdue.
Tho airmen carried enough petrol for 37 hours’ flying and expected to do the journey in 30 hours.
CAPTAIN VON GRONAU’S FLIGHT
DUTCH HARBOUR, Alaska, Aug. 25. Captain von Gronau, who is flying round the world, has arrived from Cordova, covering 9po miles in nine hours.
MR J. A. MOLUSON’S PLANS.
RETURN FLIGHT ACROSS ATLANTIC.
(British Official Wireless). RUGBY, Aug. 25. It is reported that Air J. A. Mollison hopes to start from New York on the first fine evening for St. John, New Brunswick, on his return flight across the Atlantic. He would leave on the second ©veiling for Harbour Grace, Newfoundland and the following morning for London, via Ireland. Mrs Mollison plans to fly to meet her husband over Ireland and escort him to Croydon aerodrome. The Secretary for Air lias received the following telegram from Mr Mollison:—“Many thanks for congratulations from tho Air Council which I greatly appreciate.”
