M ALES STILL LIVES.
AA'elsh Nationalists at their meeting at Brynmawr considered a resolution for tlie establishment of an independent AA’elsh Republic. Other resolutions ranged from the nationalisation of basic AA’elsh industries to mild claims that taxes should not be paid unless the forms are printed in AVelsh. and that there should be a recognition of AA’ales on the Union Jack, Royal Standard, and British coinage. AA’hile the demand for greater autonomy'is gaining strength, only a few extremists want independence. Tho Nationalists mostly pride themselves on their loyalty to the Crown, says a London message.
