TIN HARE INQUIRY.
QUESTION OF A CHEQUE. SYDNEY, Aug. 23. After a week’s adjournment, tha mechanical hare inquiry was resumed to-day.. J. Galbraith, a former secretary of the Greyhound Coursing Association, when questioned about a £IOOO cheque drawn by his association for payment to a syndicate interested in procuring a license for tin lraro coursing at Cessnock, said that he remembered nothing about the cheque and denied that it was cashed into notes for the purpose of bribery. The hearing was adjourned.
