FEILDING
HOCKEY MATCHES.
The following are the hockey fixtures for to-morrow, all of winch are to be played in Feilding: 2 p.m., Carnarvon v. Hinekoa, ladies (Messrs Johnson a.nd Chesterfield). 2 p.m., Carnarvon v. Stanway, men (Messrs A. H. Packer and Av. Wilson), dp.m-, Colyton v. H.S.O.G ladies (Messrs Sporle and Garlick) .3 p.m., Colyton v Wanderers, men (Messrs Ross and AVallis). Players are requested to be present to start at the .appointed times as a practical examination referees is being held. DRAUGHTS. On Wednesday afternoon and evening the Feilding and Dannevirke Draughts Club played a series o matches at Feilding, the hom winning by seven games. On account of not being able to secure sufficient players, the Feilding Association Football Club decided a Wednesday night’s meeting to withdraw from the competition for the remainder of the season. All Payers lidding jerseys were requested to nan a them to the secretary as soon as possible. The club wishes to thank tne Feilding Jockey Club for. the use of their ground, without which the club would have been greatly handicapped. The club also wishes to thank all those who made donations during tins and past seasons. Thanks are offered to Mr Hook for the use of the sample rooms as a place of meeting and to the Press for its generous publication ° f The* s primary school competition is to continue, but this week the Feild ing teams have drawn byes.
