LEWIS PASS ROAD.
Per Press Association .. WELLINGTON July 28. The acting-Mimster of Employment, interviewed after to-day’s meeting of tho Unemployment Board, stated that the board had considered matte-s which made it appear that work on the Lewis Pass Road would require to bn held up. The matters had been cleared up, and the Minister announced that arrangements were now to be made for tho work to be proceeded with.
