HONEY COMPETITION.
FEILDING WOMAN’S SUCCESS. Awards in the annual honey competition were announced at the conference of the National Beekeepers Association in Wellington yesterday by the judge, Mr E. A. Earn, Government apiary instructor. Miss C. A. Bairett, of Feilding, carried off the honours for borth granulated and liquid honey. Mr Earp in congratulating Miss Barrett, said the exhibits were right up to the best quality, and showed not only that she knew what to put up, but that Feilding was eminently suited tor honey production. The president, Mr 1 . A. Hillary, said that last year Miss Barrett had won a silver cup for the best apiary in the Feilding district. She was secretary of the Feilding branch of the association.
