RUGBY FOOTBALL.

PRIMARY SCHOOL TEAM. With a view to determining the composition of tho Manawatu primary schools’ team to take part in the annual tournament, the following fifteen lias been selected to represent Palmerston North and district in a match against the Feilding and district schools to-morrow. The match will be staged as the curtain-raiser to tho senior game at Johnston Park, Feilding :—Radomski, Manderson, Hosking, Burges, Waller, Robinson, Walker, Young, Howard, Karipa, Wilde, York, Elston, Shader, Rush. Emergencies: Forwards, Burden, Osborne; backs. Gilchrist, Hullena. Tho team will travel by bus leaving tho bus stand in the Square at 12.15 p.m. to-morrow. MIDGET COMPETITION. In tho midget competition which is presented each Saturday at the interval to the senior games at tho Showgrounds, last week saw Terrace End and West End, who had emerged successfully from their earlier games, play a drawn match. A re-play was ordered and in another closely contested game yesterday, Terraco End won by one try to ml and thereby gained the right to continue to participate in the series. McConnon secured the' try for tho winners after good work by Bull.
