IMPORTATIONS OF WHEAT.
CABINET CONSIDERATION. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Juno 25. Questioned concerning a statement front Dunedin that the Government will authorise the importation of up to a million bushels of Australian wheat, the Prime Minister, lit. Hon. G. YV. Forbes, said the subject of wheat importations was now under consideration by Cabinet and the matter of the quantity had not been determined. He was not in a position to say anything definite as the matter had not been finalised.
