MEMORIAL CHAPEL UNVEILED.
CLOSE TO UNKNOWN ‘W ARRIOR'S GRAVE. CEREMONY AT WESTMINSTER ABBEY. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) (British Official Wireless.) Received June 25, 11 a.m. RUGBY, June 24. The Prince of M ales to-day unveiled in Westminster Abbey a new chapel to the memory of “The Million dead.” The shrine, which is close to the Unknown Warrior’s grave. is to be called the “Warriors’ Chapel.” An anonymous donor, who died some months ago, contributed half the cost of the chapel, and the balance was collected in pennies from mothers of the British Empire who lost sons the war. Members of the Mothers’ Union from all parts of the world were represented in the congregation, which kii mainly of women.
