Marylebone: Oxford first innings 311 (Brooks 140), second 261 '(Evans 91, Colville 4 for 41) ; Mariebone, first 249, second 212 (Ingle 78). Oxford won by 111 runs. . Cambridge v. Surrey: Cambridge, first 335 (Ratcliffe 130), second 372 tor 5 (Ratcliffe not out 104, Hazlengg 112); Surrey, first 453 (Squires 103). The match was drawn. Essex y. Warwick: Essex, first 239, second 381 for 8, declared (Crawley 155) ; Warwick, first 226 (Nichols 7 for 68), second 174. Essex won by 220 runs. Yorkshire v. Sussex: Yorkshire, first 500 for 8, declared (Sutcliffe 270) ; Sussex, first 259 (Bowley 90, Duleepsmliji 83). Sussex followed on with 258 for 3 (Duleepsinhji 91). Yorkshire won on the first innings Hampshire v. Lancashire: Hampshire, first 286 (Brown 91), second 320 for 9 (Mead 111) ; Lancashire, first 324 (Kennedy 6 for 77). Lancashire won on the first innings. Gloucester v. Glamorgan: Gloucester, first 245 (Mercer 7 for 72), second 337 for 5, declared (Dacre not out 111) ; Glamorgan, first 273, second 311 for 8 (Turnbull 119). Glamorgan won by two wickets.
Middlesex v. Derby: Middlesex, first 404 (Hearne 106, Hendren 119) ; Derby, first 243. Derby followed on with 337 for 4 (Storer 170, Smith not out, 107). Middlesex won on the first innings. Notts v. Leicester: Notts, first 244 (Walker not out 114, G*ary 5 for 43) ; Leicester, first 80 (Voce 6 for 22). Leicester followed on for 53 (Larwood 6 for 34, Voce 4 for 13). Notts won by an innings and 111 runs.
