UNEMPLOYMENT LEVY.

Sir, —Could any of your readers inform me if the unemployed levy is payable by servant girls drawing 17s her week? I understand that the department has sent notices to all employers of girls in domestic service that the unemployment tax is payable. Perhaps some of your readers can enlighten me. —I am, etc., ENQUIRER.
[Domestic servants in private employment do not pay any unemployment tax on wages.]
