PAHIATUA.

PAHIATUA, June 24. The new Anglican Vicar, Rev. V. A. Bianchi, arrived in Pahiatua. from Wanganui yesterday to take over his new charge. Rev. G. V. and Mrs Gerard and family departed yesterday for Petone. Miss M. Fuller, of Martinborough, was a. visitor to Kaitawa this week.

On Wednesday evening, in St. James’ Church, Konini, the wedding was solemlused of Mary Elizabeth, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs 11. E. Allen, of Konini, and Eric James, fourth son of Mr and Mrs W. J. Humphrey, formerly of IConini and now of Pahiatua. The ceremony was performed by Rev. G. V. Gerard. At the organ was Mrs C. Connell.
