BULLS.

(From Our Own Correspondent). BULLS, June 20. Mr R. M. Watson, S.M., presided over a short sitting of the Court in Bulls on Saturday. Judgement was given for plaintiffs as follow: Nicol Bros v. E. R. Harris, £6 15s 4d (costs £1 13s 6d); Hill Bros. v. J. W. Nixon. £l4 15s 6d (costs £2 17s). Under a judgment summons, H. R. Wilton was ordered to pay to D. G. Howard the sum of £1 12s, in default three days’ imprisonment. On the information of Inspector H. J. Fowler (Rangitikei County Council and Bulls Town Boardl, J. B. O’Neill was charged with exceeding the limit of 15 miles per hour across the intersection of Bridge and High Streets and was convicted and fined £1 10s, with costs 12s. L. H. Steele, for a similar offence, was convicted and dealt with similarly. R. Keat, for riding a motor cycle without a light, was fined 15s, with costs 12s. In spite of the rough weather and counter attractions, there was a very good attendance at the dance and euchre party held in the Town Hall on Friday evening, many patrons coming from Parewanui, Marten and Ohakea. Prize-win-ners at cards were Mrs Woods (Marton) and blaster Desmond Ellery (Ohakea). Bright music was provided for the dance, and supper was hpjnded round. f lSie Bulls School funds will benefit by the function.
