INDIAN DISORDERS.
LAWLESSNESS AT BOMBAY. HINDU AND MOSLEM CLASHES. Received May 19, 8.40 a.m. CALCUTTA, May 18. The curfew order, the presence of British troops and armoured cars, and constant patrolling by the police, had a salutary effect at Bombay yesterday, and the night was uneventful. But there was a revival of lawlessness this morning, when four were killed and 60 injured, making the total, 80 dead and 870 injured.
Hindu and Moslem crowds again clashed in several localities, tho police and troops filing on hooligans. The streets are littered with debris. A hundred gas lamps were broken.
