Gray, New Zealand's leading horseman, who is at present undergoing a term of suspension, has had his license cancelled for the current season, which terminates on July 31. This action was taken yesterday by the licensing committee of the New Zealand Racing Conference. • Gray was under suspension for three months, expiring on May 29, in connection with his handling of Antique at To Aroha on February 20. Tho Auckland District Committee upheld Gray's appeal, which was then taken to tho appeal judges of tho Racing Conference, and they ordered tho suspension to stand.

Tho effect of the decision of tho licensing committee is that Gray cannot be employed by any trainer or owner in any capacity in connection with tho care, control, or training of any horse without the previous consent, in writing, of tho licensing committee.
