Particualrs appear elsewhere in this issue. 11 Tho trustees of tho well known Flock Houso station which was established some years ago for the purpose of training the sons of British seamen for farm work in New Zealand, recently had under consideration a scheme for the extension of the work to tho eons of .members of tho New Zealand Expeditionary Force, and in this connection a conforenco of Patriotic Societies, the Returned Soldiers’ Association, and other bodies throughout New Zealand was hold at Flock House Station during last February, when about 60 delegates were present. It was decided that rho scheme be carried out, tho bodies referred to undertaking to givo all possible assistance in the matter. The local Patriotic Socoicty wishes to draw attention to the scheme by an advertisement in our oolumns inviting applications from tho sons of oxNew Zealand soldiers for nomination as trainees, the applications to be forwarded without delay to the secretary.
